Beauty is everywhere, it requires only seeing.Walt Whitman wrote, "I believe a leaf of grass is no less than the journey-work of the stars." My task and occupation is to see with wonder the diverse beauty of our planet and in some measure capture it on film. My intention is to uniquely see and expertly render that seeing into a fine art photograph. Its a marvelous task. In fine art photography there are many elements to consider. Selection of subject, composition, awareness of lines and shapes within the photograph and always the quality of the light. Fine art photography reflects the unique way of seeing by the photographer and also a knowledge of the history of photography as art. - Chet Dowell
